About us

Manchester Crematorium was first opened in 1892 – only the second in this country.
We are proud of our long history and over the years we have always offered sympathy and comfort to
those who have been bereaved. We hope we can also be of help and support to you. 

Many people find it a great comfort to have their own special memorial somewhere in our gardens or inside, for example, in our Scroll Room.

They appreciate the opportunity of being able to visit and to be able to spend time nearby in quiet thought,in prayer and in remembrance.
